USEP Enrollment System Design

In connection to our first assignment that talks about the processes behind the enrollment system in USEP. Well definitely, knowing the enrollment process in a particular University you are untended to enroll is really important. It is also quiet obvious that the University have provided pictures and diagrams containing the process of enrollment system. However, my question goes in to two categories only. First, are the posted diagrams are consistent? Based on my understanding on the past discussion in some of my subjects, consistency really gives a big impact towards the overall system or shall we say the diagram. It is very important that we should also consider the consistency of its size of the figures, the flow or the process itself and as well as the direction each of each arrows. And because of this, especially for the new students they will find it easy and fast to follow the given process. This is also true to the old students. The second concern of mine is, is it understandable and concise? For the figures and diagrams it is a need to consider its simplicity not in the sense that it is useless. Well, we can’t deny the fact that there are also students who are not acquainted with the different symbols such as the process box and others. So it is also important that we will make it simple and understandable. And concise, meaning is there’s missing information in the diagrams? Because if we missed either one data in the diagram itself, we should also lost the whole information in the posted diagram.

Generally, it is important that we should consider the consistency, concise and understandability of the diagrams because it will serve as a guide of the new and old students.
